As a client of Dansk Vagt, during your vacation, we can set up call filtering services, so that all calls to senior employees or your administration, that can wait until tomorrow, will be handled by us instead. Additionally, calls that need to be handled immediately – for example, calls which may relate security issues, unexpected changes to your opening hours, or that your business cannot open the following day – can be processed and addressed immediately by our team.

Thus, you only receive calls on your vacation or in the evenings, when it is absolutely imperative that you be included in a decision making process in regards to the security of your premises.

This is not just a “press 1 if you want… ..” solution, but rather a trained and approved on-call officer who answers all calls.

We have performed call filtering services for, among others, our shopping center clients, for many years, so our on-call officers have a wealth of experience in filtering calls so that only urgent calls are made to you or your staff. Urgent issues are also screened by the duty manager at Dansk Vagt before we contact you.

Our story.

Since 1982, when we were originally operating under the name ‘Hovedstadens Butikskontrol’ (H.B.K.-Vagt Aps), we have been tirelessly working to protect and secure our clients assets.

After a company reorganisation in 1997 -´98, we changed our name to Dansk Vagt – just as we changed our core areas, which went from almost exclusively being retail security focused, to also encompassing uniformed center, service desk, port and reception guards, emergency alarm response and construction site supervision.

We have large clients who have been with us in continuous partnerships since 1986, and we take pride in these successful, ongoing co-operations and the satisfaction we provide in our services.

Subcontractors?

We never use subcontractors for our security services, and we do not hire out our staff as subcontractors to other security firms. When it comes to our own security services, we pride ourselves in relying on our own highly trained staff.

However, we are emergency response subcontractors to several alarm control centers here in Denmark (ABA and AIA Alarms).

Dansk Vagt is of course ISO 9001:2015 approved.

An ISO 9001: 2015 certification means that you, as our client, can be sure that the service you get from Dansk Vagt is 100% in order.

Our ISO 9001: 2015 certification also means that we commit to the requirements set forth by Bureau Veritas – that all employees, at least twice a year, must participate in Guard and Security-related courses.

Bureau Veritas also requires that we must be able to document annually:

• That we are innovative
• That we adhere to maximum times for emergency response
• That we can document our incidents
• That we can document our mistakes and shortcomings, – and be able to document how we correct our mistakes.

Dansk Vagt is proud to have a green smiley from the Danish Working Environment Authority. We have been able to achieve this great result, by setting high standards for ourselves in staff care and staff safety. We believe that this high standard of staff care has also resulted in Dansk Vagt having had an illness-related absence rate of less than 2.7% for 9 consecutive years.
